On February 28 – March 3 teams representing universities in volleyball met again in Poznań for the sixth tournament. Much richer this year was the setting of the championships in connection with the hundred anniversary of the hosts – Poznan University.

19 teams participated in the championships (including four in the +50 category). For the third time in the +50 category our team won the gold medal! Unfortunately, our younger colleagues in the Open category didn’t have luck in drawing and were assigned to a very tough group which they failed to leave. On the other hand, among the +50 category competitors, four were also awarded: the best server (Jolanta Walenciak), the best hitter (Tomasz Kubiak), the best setter (Piotr Paneth) and the MVP of the tournament (Paweł Stączek).
