Yesterday, during annual meeting of TUL alumnia working in Polmos Żyrardów, as scientific advisor I had particular reason for satisfaction; as of beginning of March a system for isotopic authentication of the origin of raw material delivered to Polmos became operational. Its implementation is based on studies of isotopic fractionation that has been carried for years in my laboratory. The measurements of the isotopic composition of carbon protect products from fraud. We are now working together on extending the scope of protection by using isotopes of other elements (pictured with Vice-dean Anna Diowksz and Board Member Wiesław Piłat). James Bond can sleeep peacefully – we take care of the quality of Belveder.
